Pat lives on a hill farm in Lancashire with her
husband, Peter and their 2 rough collies Susie and Charlie. They aren’t
farmers, but the sheep, lambs and cows think they are – they spend most of
their time in summer licking Pat’s study window and bleating or mooing at her
while she’s sitting at her computer writing.

She’s always loved reading and, because children’s books are still her favourite
reads, she was delighted when Mrs Mad asked her to do some book reviews. Pat makes author visits to schools which she says is
great fun and often helps out at one of her local shops … a children’s bookshop of course!
