Mrs Mad's humble opinion
10/10 Excellent work. Well done!
What's it about?
One Girl, a frying pan and an army of tiny blue men! Look out here comes a new story of Discworld!
What happens?
When the Queen of the fairies steals her brother, Tiffany doesn't mind too much, but her parents are very upset. So, she takes a good strong frying pan, her granny's special book, (Diseases of the Sheep) and an army of tiny blue pictsies, The Nac Mac Feegle. Who were thrown out of Fairyland for being drunk and disorderly!
Is it easy to read?
A good read for a confident reader. A good one to read to a class of older juniors.
Anything else?
Another rip-roaring tour de force from Terry Pratchett. I loved this book, especially the idea of the Wee Free Men, they are a wonderful creation, who will hopefully appear in more books in the future. Anyone who loves fantasy and humour will enjoy the Discworld books. Read it now! Well go out and buy and then read it!!
Other books by Terry Pratchett include Johnny and the Dead, Mort, Sourcery, The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents.
